Saltunna supplies pre-assembled Hot Tubs by real professionals. Our factory has moreover than 7 years of experience in assembling Hot Tubs and even sells them to traditional Hot Tub countries like Sweden and Denmark.  It is a fact that we seldom get complaints about our quality.

 

We have chosen to assemble our products in LCC because of low labour costs, the relative low costs of transportation to Holland (in combination with flowertransports) and last but not least long experience of our factory in assembling Hot Tubs.

Our Hot Tubs are made of 2 mm thick Stainless steel materials. Strong and rustless !

 

Some suppliers of Wood fired hottubs only advice to use aliminium heaters because the bath then would be heated faster. At the same time you pay a lot more for the same Hot Tub.

 

For less money we however deliver Hot Tubs with 5 to 8 smaller tubes (instead of 2 or 3) in the Heater, which realises the same heating capacity.   More important factors to reduce the heating time are :

 

- The size of the bath you wish to buy. Before buying please think about how many people really use it frequently.

- The quality of the wood you are burning the heater with.

As shown on or website we supply Hot Tubs in all kinds of woods like Siberian Spruce, Larch, Oak and Red Cedar. It is up to you which kind of wood you prefer in line with your own budget you wish to spend. Generally said we can say that Siberian Larch offers the best Price / Quality ratio.  Besides it looks good because of the red/brown colour (Spruce is white).

 

 

 

Furthermore quality can be demonstrated by the following:

 

     

 

Our Hot Tubs are standard equipped with a chimney cap, so it is not an optional part. Our hot tubs are sold complete. The chimney cap prevents soot share to fly away, f.e. to your close neighbours.

 

The stove cover is foreseen standard of a wooden handle, which prevents injury. 

 

The straps around the Tub are made of sound Stainless steel materials, we call them Straps. The Straps are 3 to 4 cm width depending on kind of wood used, and size of the Hot Tub.  You can tighten the Straps yourselves when needed due to wheather influences. 

 

De waterintakes / tubes through the heater are horizontally placed which improves the water circulation.  

 

The thickness of the wood is about 3,6 cm, which gurantees you a long lifetime. 

 

Standard we supply Hot Tubs with a built in Heater for 2 reasons. First of all a built in Heater has a higher heating capacity because water is warmed up all around the stove. A second reason is that the built in heater is much cheaper than an outside built Hot Tub, it saves you about 600 Euro incl. One important reason why people tend to choose for an outside bult heater (like Chofu) is that it would give more space in the hottub, however for a few hundred Euro more you can realize the same effect by choosing 1 size higher.

 

The Stove is standing on feet in the bath. This means that the bottom will not be damaged, but also increases the capacity to heat the batch quickly. The heater is surrrounded by water on its sides and on the bottom.

 

We can offer you two types of Steps at the same price depending on your taste.  Would you like to choose for Ladder Type A, we always recommend to fix it on the topside on the Hot Tub, or to fix it on the bottom at the floor side. Just for your own safety.
